In a remarkable and historic milestone, the 2025 Qurbani program marked the first-ever organized Qurbani initiative in QwaQwa within the history of Islam and the Muslim community in the region.
This momentous occasion brought together Muslims from across the area in a spirit of unity, devotion, and gratitude. Community members gathered at a central location where Salah was performed collectively, strengthening bonds of brotherhood and shared faith.
The program went beyond the ritual sacrifice it became a day of compassion and service. Over five cows were slaughtered, and fresh, wholesome meals were prepared on-site. These meals, along with refreshments, were distributed to all attendees, ensuring that no one was left out of this blessed occasion.
More than 600 individuals benefited from this initiative, experiencing not only the joy of Qurbani but also the warmth of community care and inclusion.
This historic effort stands as a testament to what can be achieved through unity, dedication, and sincere intention. It is our hope that this marks the beginning of many more impactful initiatives in QwaQwa uplifting lives, strengthening faith, and serving humanity.
